Gynaecomastia treatment

This condition affects men and consists of an excessive growth (hypertrophy) of the mammary gland and breast subcutaneous tissue. This excess may be removed through the incisions along the areolar line; in particular cases extended incisions may be required. Depending on the amount of excess tissue, local or general anaesthesia should be applied. Pressure dressings and an elastic corset should be applied after the surgery.
